Jeremy Prepscius
Managing Director
A seasoned sustainability leader with 25+ years of experience working in, with and for global MNCs on their sustainability footprints and global supply chains. Jeremy is the Managing Director of ILLÆSA, a sustainable supply chain and due diligence consultancy based in Hong Kong.
Prior to this, Jeremy was the Sustainable Supply Chain Lead in PwC Global Sustainability, where he provided specialist input to the delivery of Sustainable Supply Chain engagements across the region and globally.
Jeremy’s career began with NIKE, with significant time in the early days of NIKE’s supply chain / labour engagement including HQ, Vietnam and China.
Subsequently, Jeremy spent 16 years at BSR and was the Vice President for Asia Pacific leading BSR’s consulting and government / public engagements in the region. His consulting experience extends across a broad geography (from Papua New Guinea to Uzbekistan, Japan to Indonesia) and across a variety of industries (from tech to consumer products, food through energy and extractives).
William Hay
Associate
William is an Associate with a background in policy research and governance across Southeast Asia. Previously serving as a Policy Researcher at the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, he authored several policy papers that were circulated to Malaysian ministries and ASEAN bodies.
His background also includes research work with the NGO Traffic, supporting analysis of illegal wildlife trade to inform more sustainable trade practices.
William holds a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Manchester. His work spans policy analysis, cross-cultural engagement, and translating research into practical recommendations, with a particular interest in governance and sustainability in the Asia Pacific region.

Ouida Chichester
Senior Advisor, Energy, Extractives and Just Transition
A human rights and community engagement specialist with 20+ years of experience working with communities, governments and global corporations on social risk, stakeholder engagement and responsible business practice. Ouida is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ouida spent nearly 15 years at BSR, where she led global human rights initiatives on strategy, due diligence, grievance mechanisms and remedy, and directed corporate-wide, remote and on-site human rights and labour assessments. Her consulting work has centred on the energy, oil and gas, and mining sectors — among the most complex and contested operating environments globally — with engagement spanning workers, contractors, communities, Indigenous peoples, NGOs and governments.
Her field experience spans Latin America (Peru, Chile, Argentina, Guatemala, Mexico), Asia-Pacific (Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, India), Africa (Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia) and North America.
Ouida’s career began in international development, including service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador and with the United Nations Development Programme in Belize on water governance, gender equality and disability rights. She is fluent in Spanish.
Phil Berry
Senior Advisor
Phil has served for 25 years in leadership positions (Director and Vice President) of global MNCs and consultancies leading sustainability, human rights and climate action programmes focused on global supply chain performance.
Phil served for twelve years as NIKE’s first Director of Sustainability, with leadership responsibility for the environmental performance of the entire Asian supply chain, including China, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Subsequently, Phil served as Director of Sustainability in Guangxi, China for Stora Enso Oyj. At Stora Enso, Phil designed and led one of the largest human rights assessment and remediation programmes undertaken by a corporation in China.
As a consultant, Phil has conducted more than 80 investigations of suppliers and supply chains in Asia, Latin America and Africa for risk of forced labour, child labour and prison labour. He has extensive experience improving the sustainability, human rights and climate performance of agricultural value chains.
